For law firms

Private AI for your most sensitive work.

Case files, privileged memos, client correspondence: ask it anything. It runs on a server in your office, so privileged material never leaves the building.

What did we recommend to the Hendersons about the trust amendment last spring?

In your April 14 letter you recommended naming a successor trustee and moving the brokerage account into the trust before the refinance. Sarah sent the signed forms on May 2.

Draft a follow-up in my voiceDraft

Hi Tom and Linda, a quick check-in on the trust amendment we discussed in April…

Answered from your own files, on your office server. Nothing sent outside.
Example of SmartBLDR On-Site answering a question for a law firm, a wealth management firm or a medical practice, using that office's own files, drafting a reply in the user's voice, and logging each step.

The problem

Your team already uses AI. Just not on the work that matters.

  1. 01

    Copy, paste, hope.

Staff paste client work into ChatGPT on personal accounts. Nobody knows what's been shared.

  2. 02

Redact by hand, then put it all back.

Names and account numbers stripped out one by one, then pasted back. One miss is a breach.

  3. 03

    Off-limits for the real work.

Case files, portfolios and patient records get no AI help at all.

What it does

One system that knows how your office works.

Connected to the files and email you already use. Nothing new for your team to learn.

A company brain

Ask anything about your documents and past work. Every answer links to its source.

Automatic redaction

Client names, account numbers and SSNs masked before anything leaves, even if you still use ChatGPT.

Email drafts in your voice

It learns from your sent mail and drafts replies the way you write. You hit send.

Search prior cases and files

Find the matter or file you half-remember by what it was about.

  • Every answer shows its source.

  • It drafts. People decide.

  • Built to help your team, not replace it.

Built for your rules

Built around the rules you already answer to.

Designed to support your compliance program, not certified or endorsed by any regulator. We review your policies with your compliance team during setup.

How it works

Installed in your office. Owned by you.

A small Utah team does it all in person. Live in a few weeks, and yours to keep, even without us.

  1. 1

We install a dedicated server in your office.

About the size of a desktop PC, behind your firewall.

  2. 2

We connect it to your documents and email.

Only the folders and mailboxes you choose, with the permissions you already have.

  3. 3

    We train your team.

Hands-on, in your office, using your own work.

One-time setup. No per-seat AI subscriptions.

Most offices: $5,000–$10,000, one time. Yearly upgrades optional.

FAQ

Questions firms ask us.

Anything else? Ask us on a call. We'll tell you straight if it's not a fit.

Is my data used to train AI?
No. Your files and conversations stay on your server and are never sent to us or any AI company.
Will it make things up?
Like any AI, it can be wrong. That's why every answer links to its source, and nothing is sent without a person reviewing it.
What does it cost?
Most offices pay $5,000–$10,000, one time, for the server, setup and training. No per-seat subscriptions. Book a call for a quote.
Do we pay every year?
No. It's yours after setup. A yearly plan for updates and newer AI models is optional.
Does it work with our software?
It connects to your shared folders and email. For CRMs, EHRs and practice software, we'll check yours on the first call.
What if the internet goes down?
It keeps working. Everything runs on your office network.
Who can see our data?
Only your staff, by role, and every access is logged. We can't see it unless you let us in for support. And if we ever disappear, the system keeps running.
Will you sign a BAA?
Yes, whenever our support work could involve patient information.
What does our IT person need to know?
It's one server behind your firewall with no inbound internet access. It can often run on a server you already own. We'll walk your IT provider through it first.
